Case Study RWE
Critical Energy Production Systems
RWE Generation is a German energy provider hosting critical infrastructure. They are providing millions of households with electricity. Incidents or even failures could exclude whole regions from power supply. The IT infrastructure has to be very robust and resilient to cyber-attacks.
The infrastructure in scope is outermost critical with high security requirements. Finding all concievable attack paths is thus key. securiCAD conducted automated threat modeling and attack simulations to the infrastructure in scope. securiCAD provided insights into all conceivable attack paths, and appropriate actions. The findings allowed RWE to take the next steps.
